Temperature 300–320°F · Pressure firm · Time 10–15 seconds
By fabric:
- Cotton and blends — 300–320°F, 10–15 sec, firm
- Polyester and performance — 280–300°F, 12–15 sec, firm
- Nylon, spandex, heat-sensitive — 250–285°F, 15–25 sec, light to medium
Lower the heat on polyester to avoid dye migration, which permanently discolors the print.
Steps:
- Cut the designs apart, leaving a small margin around each.
- Pre-press the garment 3–5 seconds.
- Position the transfer printed side down.
- Press at your fabric's settings with firm, even pressure.
- Peel hot or cold, slowly, at a low angle.
- Re-press 10–15 seconds with parchment or Teflon.
Care: wait 24–48 hours before the first wash. Wash inside out, cold, no fabric softener, tumble dry low.

Each premade sheet is offered in several design sizes, so the same artwork can decorate very different items. Matching the size to the item is the difference between a design that looks intentional and one that looks lost or crowded.
A Size Guide by Item
On a sheet offered in 4, 6, 8, and 11-inch sizes, for example:
- 4 inch: pockets, left-chest spots, hats, and baby bodysuits
- 6 inch: toddler shirts, small totes, and oversized left-chest looks
- 8 inch: youth shirts, fitted women's tees, and standard tote bags
- 11 inch: adult full-front and full-back prints, sweatshirts, and hoodies
