Because you are supplying the full layout, file accuracy matters more here than anywhere else on the site. Artwork is printed exactly as submitted. We do not edit, resize, or color-correct.

Accepted formats, in order of preference:

• PDF and AI — most preferred. Vector, so edges stay razor sharp at any size. Outline all fonts.
• EPS and SVG — preferred vector alternatives.
• PNG — best raster option. Transparent background, 300 DPI at final print size.
• JPG / JPEG — accepted but not recommended. No transparency, so the background prints as a solid box.

Layout specifications:

• Build the file at exactly 22.3" wide
• Keep all artwork at least 0.25" inside the sheet edge
• Leave at least 0.25" between designs so they cut apart cleanly
• Resolution: 300 DPI at final print size (acceptable range 150–900 DPI)
• Minimum design size: 0.25" × 0.25"
• Minimum free-standing line thickness: 6 px / 0.02" / 0.5 mm
• Minimum positive space, negative space, and outline weight: 2 pt
• Transparent background required
• Convert all fonts to outlines
• CMYK color mode preferred

Set your document units to inches and confirm the physical dimensions before exporting. A file that looks correct on screen can be a completely different printed size.

Temperature 300–320°F · Pressure firm · Time 10–15 seconds

By fabric:

• Cotton and blends — 300–320°F, 10–15 sec, firm
• Polyester and performance — 280–300°F, 12–15 sec, firm
• Nylon, spandex, heat-sensitive — 250–285°F, 15–25 sec, light to medium

Lower the heat on polyester to avoid dye migration, where the garment's dye bleeds up through the print and discolors it. It cannot be reversed.

Steps:

1. Pre-press the garment 3–5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
2. Position the transfer printed side down.
3. Press using the settings above with firm, even pressure.
4. Peel hot or cold. Peel slowly at a low angle in one motion.
5. Re-press 10–15 seconds with parchment or a Teflon sheet. This is what makes the print survive washing.

Care: wait 24–48 hours before the first wash. Wash inside out in cold water, no fabric softener or bleach, tumble dry low or hang dry.

Orders placed before 1:00 PM PST Monday to Friday are printed and shipped the same business day. After the cutoff, on weekends, or on holidays, production begins the next business day.

Rush production is available for $19.99 on orders placed before 2:00 PM PST.

Note: if we need to come back to you about a file, the production clock restarts when the corrected file arrives.

Covered: print defects, adhesion failure at our recommended settings, wrong size or design, transit damage.

Not covered: artwork problems we flagged before printing, application outside our recommended settings, the cost of blank garments damaged during application, and normal screen-to-print color variation.

Because you supplied the layout, issues caused by the file itself — designs too close to the edge, insufficient spacing, low resolution, or a non-transparent background — are not covered. We flag files we expect to print poorly where we can, but we cannot guarantee catching every issue.

Because all DTF transfers are custom printed, returns and exchanges are not accepted for change of mind.
