What we print — and what we don't

Last updated: June 11, 2026 — DTF4Prints

DTF4Prints prints the vast majority of what customers send us. There are, however, categories of content we will not reproduce, regardless of who is ordering or in what quantity. This page exists so you know exactly where we stand before you place an order.

We will not print

  • Copyrighted characters, logos, or designs without documented written permission from the rights holder — this includes Disney, Marvel, DC, sports team logos, band logos, brand trademarks, and similar protected intellectual property
  • Hate speech or slurs targeting any group based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin
  • Content that sexualizes or exploits minors in any form
  • Pornographic or sexually explicit content
  • Content inciting violence against specific individuals or groups
  • Gang insignia, symbols, or affiliation marks
  • Content promoting illegal activity — drug manufacturing, weapons assembly, fraud, or similar
  • Defamatory content targeting identifiable private individuals
  • Terrorist or extremist propaganda of any kind

Case-by-case review

Some content falls into gray areas that we review individually:

  • Fan art or transformative work of copyrighted characters — we may decline depending on how closely it resembles the original and the quantity ordered
  • Political content — we generally print political expression; we may decline content we determine is hate-adjacent regardless of political orientation
  • Adult humor or strong language — generally acceptable; we may decline content that crosses into targeted harassment or hate
  • AI-generated designs — we'll print them, but copyright compliance is your responsibility

What happens if we can't print your order

1
We will email you within 1 business day of receiving the order
2
We will explain what flagged our review and why
3
We will offer a full refund or the opportunity to substitute a compliant design

Not sure about your design?

Email your artwork to info@dtf4prints.com before placing your order and we'll give you a quick yes or no. We'd rather have that conversation upfront than issue a refund after the fact.
